Marcos de la Fuente

Marcos de la Fuente is a multifaceted poet, therapist, and cultural activist based in Brooklyn, New York. He is the driving force behind the Open Mic monthly series “Se Buscan Poetas” (Wanted Poets) at the Bowery Poetry Club. His work encompasses poetry reading, action poetry, performance, and spoken word, both with and without musical accompaniment. Since 2010, he has been the organizer of the Kerouac Festival in Vigo, Spain, expanding the festival to New York in 2016 and Mexico City in 2019. His literary influences include Cortázar, León Felipe, Ginsberg, and Kavafis, while his philosophical inspirations come from Herman Hesse, Kundera, Fromm, and Nietzsche. Musically, his rhythm is inspired by Charlie Parker, Saul Williams, and Gil Scott-Heron.

Aida Saco Beiroa

Aida Saco Beiroa is a young Spanish pianist and composer renowned for her “extremely interesting musical personality and lively pianistic instinct.” Her formal education in music was under the tutelage of esteemed pianists such as Josep Mª Colom and Tensy Krismant at the Liceu Conservatory in Barcelona, Bart van de Roer at Codarts-Rotterdam, and Maurizio Moretti at the Schola Cantorum in Paris. In 2022, she received an invitation from Solomon Mikowsky, a globally recognized piano pedagogue, to pursue postgraduate studies at the Manhattan School of Music in New York, a testament to her exceptional talent and potential.
